How AttRec Works

Your attendance record, verified by previous employers, shared instantly with new ones. Here's exactly how.

Three People, One Record

AttRec connects employees, previous employers, and new employers around a single verified record.

Employee

Creates and owns the record. Adds work history, shares with future employers. Always free.

Previous Employer

Receives a secure link to verify dates, attendance, and give a reference. No account needed.

New Employer

Scans a QR code or opens a link. Sees the verified record instantly. Can contact previous employer if needed.

Step by Step

From sign-up to verified record in four steps.

1

Employee signs up

Create a free account with your email and a 4-6 digit PIN. No passwords to remember. Install as an app on your phone or use in any browser.

What you enter: Full name, email, PIN. That's it โ€” you're in.
2

Add your employment history

Enter each job: company name, job title, dates, and your attendance record (total days absent and separate occasions). Add contact details for your previous employer's HR or manager.

Key principle: We only store numbers โ€” days absent and occasions. Never reasons. No medical data. The pattern tells the story fairly.
3

Previous employer verifies

Click "Request Verification" and a secure, one-time link is generated. Your previous employer clicks it, confirms your dates and attendance, rates your punctuality, reliability, and teamwork, and optionally adds a short statement.

No app needed: The previous employer doesn't need an account. They just click, tick boxes, and submit. Takes under 2 minutes.
4

Share with new employers

Generate a share link from your dashboard. Send it via email, text message, QR code, or the native share button on your phone. The new employer sees your full verified record instantly.

Multiple ways to share: Copy link, email with pre-filled subject, SMS, QR code popup, or native OS share sheet. Share links expire after 30 days and track view counts.

No medical data

No absence reasons

Only total days and occasions. The pattern is informative; the reason is private.

Employee controls sharing

No data is visible until the employee generates and sends a share link.

Consent at registration

Users explicitly agree to how their data is used before creating an account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is AttRec really free for employees?

Yes, completely. Creating your record, getting it verified, and sharing it costs nothing. We make money from employer dashboard subscriptions (coming soon), not from employees.

What if my previous employer won't verify?

That's okay โ€” your record still shows the employment with an "Unverified" status. New employers can see the details and contact information. A verified record carries more weight, but an unverified one is still useful.

Can I lie about my attendance?

You can enter any numbers, but verification by your previous employer is what gives the record credibility. Verified records carry a badge. Unverified ones don't. A disputed record is visible to everyone.

What attendance data is stored?

Only two numbers: total days absent and number of separate occasions. No reasons, no medical data, no sick notes. This keeps us fully GDPR Article 9 compliant.

Do previous employers need an account?

No. They receive a one-time secure link. Click it, confirm the details, submit. Under 2 minutes, no sign-up required.

How long do share links last?

30 days by default. You can create new ones anytime. View counts are tracked so you know when someone's looked at your record.

Why not just use LinkedIn?

LinkedIn shows job titles and dates but has no attendance data, no employer verification, and no structured references. AttRec is specifically for the attendance and reliability data that employers need for SSP and HR decisions.
